Is everyone okay in black or canary or red brown? Does the colouring of the clothes we wear matter? The answer to this question is colour typology. Basically, we distinguish 12 colour types inspired by the seasons. Spring, summer, autumn, winter, and each of them divided into 3 subtypes. Simplifying, spring and autumn are warm types, summer and winter are cool types. Cool types will look best in cool colours, warm types, as the name suggests in warm colours.
Upper parts of wardrobe, such as tops, blouses, shirts, play a very important role, because they are directly on the face and most influence our individual colour scheme. A colour-matched blouse will do more harm than a colour-matched skirt.
In Poland, the following summer types prevail: real summer with cool colours, and a dimmed summer with slightly warm but dimmed colours, as if powdered. It is relatively rare to see a light summer with a slightly warm and pure colour. The best colours for summer types are navy blue, steel blues, grays, extinguished violets, broken white, taupe. This violet and blue handmade blouse is in the color of the extinguished summer, very common at our latitude. It will be a great solution for most of us.
